all around help thread!!

why dont we make this a thread where every1 and anyone gives up lil tips or advice on how to help with recording, and getting good sound...u know any type of organazation of mic or, little inside tips and tricks....
 
...because that's what the forums are for.

Sorry, but what you're talking about sounds like putting everything on this
website into one thread, and it seems like a really bad idea
 
If we did it would quickly get so cluttered and confussing that no one would gain anything. The forums are divided into categories for a purpose. Anyone too lazy to do a little reasearch will probably loose interest before they make their first semi decent recording anyway.
 
On the other hand, I think this guy has a point. Maybe not just a "how to" guide
on recording but moreso a thread about random quirky ideas. Stuff that's a little
out of the ordinary that some people might want to share. Could be interesting.


...or has this been done? :confused:
