All Acoustic guitar album

I havent been on here in a long time, so I thought I would share some acoustic guitar songs I recorded from about 2017 till 2020 or so. These were recorded with an old Fender steel string acoustic and an old Yamaha nylon string classical. Microphones were large diaphragm condensers into ART tube preamps and into an OLD KORG D888 digital 8 track recorder. Tracks were then moved to PC for further processing using MIXCRAFT DAW. Usually I put mild compression, and high pass filter on tracks. Light reverb. Mic placement varies but for most part I used 2 mics on each guitar track, one mic placed at 12th fret about 6" away, and other mic placed about 18" above body of guitar over and above sound hole. I prefer close miking all the time. Most of all tunes on this collection are pretty modal and all open tunings. Some of these tunes were spread out over several albums, but over time I consolidated them into one acoustic album. I have other albums, some mostly MIDI keyboard stuff, but that material only has a very small "niche" audience. The acoustic guitar stuff seems to be better accepted.

I had a listen to a bunch of them.
They are pretty good. Must have taken a lot of time to develop them.

Actually it wasnt too time consuming creating them. I would set my guitar to an open tuning and just fiddle around making chord shapes, then a progression and then record it. Depending on the chords and how they sounded dictated what scale/mode to use. Mixing them always takes some time. I am hoping to do some newer stuff at some point.
