alesis QS6.1

Can you use a drum machine sequencer w/ the qs6.1. if not how expensive is it to buy a outside sequencer to use with this keyboard
 
I am not an expert on any of this but cant you use a software sequencer with your computer and keyboard. I use opcode with a mac for my qs8. The only drums I used were the ones in the qs8, didn't use any differnt
drum machines. Recorded the drums midi and played them back through the qs8.

to answer your question. yes you can use a drum machine sequencer with the qs6.1. i don't use it in this manner but i could hook up my boss dr5 to drive my alesis. if you have a computer you can use this as a sequencer...even if it's a cheap computer. included in the alesis was some software for cubasis. try installing it if you have a computer. you'll need some way to transmit the midi data so install the driver on the cd for a direct serial conncetion.
