Alesis QS 6.1

What do you guys think of the Alesis QS 6.1 Synth?
I think it has good sounds and I'm happy with it.
I don't have any questions regarding it, I just want to know your opinions and comments about it.
If you have one, say something...

I have the orginal S4 and I like the sounds on it. The only thing I don't like about my unit is that it does not have GM. I would like to replace it with a QSR.

Deleted USER preset

I accidentally deleted the USER preset on my Alesis QS 6.1
I tried everything to get it back, but I can't.
Is there someway I can get those instruments back?.....without having to buy another one.

Check your manual, there should be some way to reset the unit.

To reset:

With the unit off, Hold down the 00 and 03 buttons, and turn on the unit. Make sure the pitchbend and mod wheels are in normal position!!!

You'll lose all your custom info, but you'll get the original sounds back.

I use a QS-8.1 and love it. SeanMorse79 of this bbs has a 6.1, he likes it too.

I have some patches that I got off the net. just Google.com "alesis QSR patches" "6.1 patches" you'll be surprised. Very good patches out there.
