Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire...anyone have one?

Hey. I'm getting the Multimix 16 Firewire for Christmas (I know it's already here, but my parents wanted to wait to get me something). I was wondering if anyone here has it. If so, tell me what the major benefits are, the good things, the bad things, etc. It'd be a major help.

i have one. but im sorry to say i dont have ANY knowledge on it what-so-ever. All my posts just so happen to STILL sit unanswered on this one piece. Hmmmmmm? Makes me wonder. But then again, you did just post it. Y'know, sometimes you gotta' check after a couple of days. Hopefully somebody answers it.
 
I just bought the USB one (hasn't arrived). Hopefully there will be some love for us.
 
Can you record everything to separate channels with that thing?...I read somewhere that they make it seem like you would be able to, but in actuality you can't?....I hope you can, because I need something like that.

yea you can with the Firewire, not with the USB
