Hey.. I just got an Alesis Micron today. It's my first synth and I've already encountered a problem.

I've realised that with a lot of the program sounds that I like, you can only press one key at a time. Like if you hold down one key and then press another it cuts off the first one. It's not with all of the sounds.. but it includes most of the leads that I like. Is there a way to fix/change this??

Thanks, and sorry for the noob question. I feel like it may have something to do with the sustain but I'm really not sure. This manual is hard to grasp. >.<

A lot of the Micron sounds are mono-phonic, they only play one key at a time. You can change this on a per program basis by going into edit and changing the Voice setting to Polyphonic. Choose the program then push down on the big knob in the upper right hand corner. That will put you into edit. Then turn the big knob until you see "Voice", push the big knob again and you'll be able to adjust the polyphony setting. If you want to keep the edit, you'll have to save the program.
