alesis micron... dare i?

i was at my local guitar center yesterday, and started playing the micro korg, and the micron at the same time... i liked the micron a lot more, i was just wondering does anyone have this synth? and what do they think of it? and is this an overrall good buy? thank you very much.

I haven't tried either the micron or the microkorg. But my suggestion is this, if YOU liked the micron a "lot more" you shouldn't care anything about what others think. Something that you like very much will always be a good buy for you.

Trust your instinct. Everyone has different ears and needs.

With that being said, you should of course consider things if someone points out big differences in performance or features between the two. But since the both units are targetted to the same piece of the market, I doubt the difference between them would be overwhelming, and so your personal preference should really be the judge of your purchase.
