Alesis iO interface

Anyone try one of the Alesis iO series?

They're pretty new but the price is right and they seem to have all the features I need at least.

Well, I have the IO|2 and it's driving my Shure SM7B... which speaks well for it's preamps. No issues.

Of course it's the pre's and conversion that tells the tale... so thanks for that. I just think that it/they have a real nice full feature set: MIDI, ADAT, S/PDIF, channel inserts, phantom, guitar/mic - you name it, all for $299/$399. If it sounds good it's got to take the trophy (this week )
