Alesis HD24 Shipping?

I don't know what happened to my original post.
Supposedly this has been shipping since 28 August. I sure can't find one in Texas. HAs anyone actually seen one for sale?
 
I thought that they were not going to ship until Oct.
 
American Music Supply has told me the same; shipping won't be
made until mid-Oct.
 
Folks, the Alesis website clearly states that it is now shipping. Someone on the Mackie hard disk forum bought one and has been talking about it. Heck if I know what is going on.
 
I contacted Alesis regarding this. They told me that they did ship a limited number of HD24s. They also stated that Oct 10 is the main shipping date. I guess that is today. We'll see.
