A couple of things. You will need some sort of interface to work well with one of these. Another drum machine with Midi Capabilities, a Computer with Midi, Keyboard, Electronic Drum Kit, etc. I used to sell the DM5 when it first came out. It worked well and had some good sounds. What are you going to be using it for? Hope that helps.

What about using one of these
with an acoustic drum triguer
for some FEAR FACTORY kicks???

do you recomend one of this to improve the sound of the kick?
maybe it can help for some quik recordings.

Hey guys,

These things would be great for that. Similar to the Roland ones that are made for triggering. Eventually, I am going to get something similar with about 6 triggers to make a simple electronic drum kit for recording. I play drums a bit, but obvioulsy don't want a full acoustic set due to noise. I worked with a guy who had a Roland set up and added Techno sounds to his acoustic kit. Was cool.
