Alesis DM5 problem

Hi,
The trigger (number 5) doesn't work on my DM5. I've checked the levels and tried various pads but it deffinatley is the trigger that doesn't receive data.

Any ideas of what it could be/how to remidy this?

The problem seems to have sorted itself out; I'm a little worried about that.
