alesis dm-5 module

I have been trying to get my dm5 to work with my double bass pedal but it keeps double triggering or being to quiet sometimes and too loud at others. Can anyone who has this piece of equipment give me thei settings they use with double bass?

I assume you mean a standard double pedal hitting one trigger.... you need to play around with the xtalk, Dec and Nois options, maybe even VCrv aswell to get the desired level first. If it's double triggering, it's xtalk and Dec you need to mess with, try different levels of each until the problem goes. Actually that's not a lot of help is it? I haven't used mine for double bass so can't recommend settings, but i have had trouble with double triggering and weak signals, all sorted by changing the parameters mentioned above.

If you set the vcrv so that it doesn't track the dynamics (all the way one direction-I can't remember which) It will always be a strong hit. Those other parameters will take care of the double triggering. It also helps if you loosen your head. If your head is ringy, it will trigger.
