Alesis AM-11 For Vocals And Guitar Amp

Does anyone know anything about these? Are they good for vocals and micing guitar amps? Better than an SM 57? Thanks in advance.
 
I've heard those mics before{AM11}..Nice sounding mic..heavy prox. effect.. it will put the pounds on ya!Great in my estimation for voice over{never tried it,its a guess}..A nice change of pace from the other condensers in its price range...As for how it would fair on guits..It should work pretty well..Wish I could help more.Maybe someones got one and can give more info than I can..Good luck

I have one and use it all the time. Nice on male vocals when the V67 or NTK isn't just right. Nice on some acoustic guitars and as a room mic for a marshall amp or drums.
