Naw!
I was watching my bid on E-Bay.
Mine was the only bid.
$349.95 on an AKG Solid Tube.......... Somebody outbid me with exactly 2 seconds to go.
So I bought another, straight out. Cost me $60 more when you factor in the shipping.
These are great prices for a mic that sells for $1099.99

Don't cha hate that? Someone lurking in the shadows and striking with seconds to go.
Yeah Jim the price sure does look good, a third of the original price.

That's somebody using sniper software. Could even be the seller with another account who needs a higher price and prefers to relist instead of selling to cheap. Something eBay could easily prevent, but they don't...

I didn't know there was software for it but I suspected the seller, right away.
I could have prepared for it but I'd much rather avoid paying extra to some wise guy and make my purchase without the "Tic... toc..." pressure.
So I had a plan 'B' and used it.
Anyway, I've finally climbed out of the $40 - $150 mic hole.

Sniping is the only way to bid. No sniper software here though. Bottom line, the highest bid wins. Outbid someone by 1 cent, you win.
