In its price range, I believe the D110 is as good a kick mic as any made. However, its price range is pretty damned low ($60). D11 is a better mic, but it's $100 or so.
D112 is like $180, but is something none of the cheap kick mics are- a good general purpose dynamic mic. Kind of like a poor man's RE20, a D112 is a good voicever mic and a better vocal mic than you would think, especially for deep voices. It also rocks on bass cabs and standup bass. If you just need a kick mic, I'd say break the piggy bank and get a D11 instead of a D110.-Richie
