I have looked for reviews online and the only 2 I can find come from the Musiciansfriend site.

I have also read in another thread these are great tom,snare, and guitar amp mics.

Does anyone have any experiences with them? Anyone know how they compare to the Audix D series?
For only 70 bucks I was thinking of picking up a pair.

i've got 5 of em. they're excellent mics, certainly comparable to the sennheiser 604. they're made in china, extremely rugged, and i'd have a hard time complaining about them. they do great on snare drum, too.

definitely worth the $70--they smoke sm57's (545s) in my opinion. no experience with the audix d-series tom mics.

the mounts suck, though, so be prepared to stand-mount them. of course, i use stands in the studio anyway (i've yet to find a rim-mount that didn't either negatively affect the resonance of the drum or transfer drum vibrations to the mic).
