That depends on your voice and your preference.
Some will say one, others will say the other.
Your best bet is to try them out somewhere, or try to find controlled demos of the two (side by side test).
Short of that, the 414 has more bells and whistles, so it's a bit more of a swiss army knife.
If a range of polar patterns appeal to you, go with that.

i ran both of these mics through the same interface, same set up, for my voice I liked the c414 over the tlm 102, but I have a heavy low mid voice.. the c414 was very smooth and neutral, while the tlm102 had kind of a high mid peak I didn't really like.......... on another note, after that happened, we took two tlm102 and ran them through the exact same set up.. two different sounds. Just what I've known about sm57's and 58's , and some of the AT stuff I've used, each microphone is just a bit different. Probably why manufacturers make matched pairs.

This is what I've noticed about the C414. It is extremely well-behaved in so many applications, and that makes it so versatile.
