What a twat these devices are to program and the manual misses out valuble pieces of information. If anyone can help me with this confounded piece of kit I would be eternally grateful.

Find or buy some S2000 formated sampler disks and see how the programs are set up.

I have managed to assign some samples to a key group and a program and got play back which is a good starting point but it has taken a couple of days.

Sampling is fairly difficult to get a grip on. I recommend if you are trying to start somewhere, start with a drum patch with individual samples per key then go through doing the envelopes, efffects, etc for each sample

It's not the sampling that's the issue, it's more to do with the way the instructions are written in the manual on how to program multi timbral programs. The whole menu system is pretty poor.

Got the thing well nailed down and it's triggering like a good 'en. What a bitch to program though, the manual is sheer gobblediguke
