I have just purchased this seemingly awesome 24 tracker. Anyone have or use one? Guess I should have asked before I purchased, but I'm pretty confident it a good piece of gear. But I'd love some feedback. Anyone??

I own the DPS16 and I love it. It's a great machine. Easy to use and, more importantly, it sounds great.

You dont want to hear a compressor, you just want it to do Its job.

My Dps16 is the best purchase Ive made this year, Im going to get an 8 Channel pre to go with it.

By the way Have any of you gone to the all Akai bbs called DPS world? Its starting up and could use some people chatting over there.
 
I'm not saying i want to hear the compression. It just doesnt seem to "do its job." My sounds are still as jumpy as they were before i added the compression.
