Akai DPS16 LCD screen...

Sorry if this sounds as lame to you all as it does to me - but I can't figure out how to tilt the LCD screen up. Is there a lock or switch that I need to unhook? I've been looking through the manual but can't find a thing on this.

Not a problem

Trust me.. You will not break it.

Grab the top of the LCD screen and pull up and forward. The entire thing is on a hinge at the bottom and will tilt up. There are detents to keep it at a given angle. It will come up to nearly 90 degrees (but not quite).

The first minute I pulled mine out of the box, I wondered the same thing.

haha I did the same thing when i got mine. of course i was so delicate with it cuz i just spent 1300 dollars on mine and was looking through the manual frantically. i got frustrated and just started pulling. nice.
