that shit is tight, more people should do that and show everybody how it goes down in their studio. if i had a digital camera i know i would.

your setup looks almost identical to mine...i got the same desk and everything. but i went with the hp4 instead of the c-control and your mixer is a lot more badass than mine. what mixer is that by the way?

Its actually the mackie control since i do all my mixing from inside the box itself. but i've been trying to get people to get something like this started but no one participates.

Thanks. yeah, I also need to cop some more tapes. i've recycled two already. It's not a good practice to rerecord over your dv tape but if you leave the lens cap on and record, it wipes out the time code on the tape and then you can properly re use it. You probably know this but you also have to be careful to stick with the same brand tape because different brands use different types of lubrication which can screw up your heads. It hasn't happened to me but i've been following those practices.

What's up Trizz? thanks for checking out the vid, killa got the ball rolling on that one. yeah, you can start with a camcorder, now a days you can get a mini dv pretty cheap. I had the canon xl1 last year which ran me $1900.00 used but was going for $4000.00 new. I sold it because it was attracting too much attention, while i was in public getting footage. it's funny because i purchased it on the strength of it being flashy and top of the line in it's class. now i have a $300.00 mini dv that i'm using just to do web vids. After that you need to get yourself a firewire capture card from circuity city, best buy, compusa....then you need a program like adobe premiere or vegas video to do your editing. That'll put you in the money. if you have a regular hi 8 camcorder that's cool also, you just have to get the right capture card to allow you to use the rca cables instead of firewire cables. anything else you need to know i'll be happy to help you with it.
