Agonizing over monitors (still)

For a newbie, with very little equipment (PC, Mackie 808m,MR8), what would be recommended between yorkvilles ysm1p for 447.95, or the carvin srs65a for 235.00? These prices include shipping. (I just saw a guy on ebay trying to sell the same carvins for 300 used.)

I'd rather spend as little as possible (der) this close to Christmas, but I don't want to regret not saving up the extra 100 bucks for the Yorkvilles.

Get the Yorks, I haven't heard a bad thing about them yet.

I was actually kind of disappointed in the lack of responses to this question, until I realized, it has been answered a thousand times already!

Damn that search function is handy! All the answers one could read!!!

I'd have to say that for the price range, I'm probably going to go with the Yorkvilles, they come highly recommended from many people here, but I'm gonna have to save my pennies and be thrifty for a while...
