Would someone who has an Agile Les Paul type guitar please record some clips for me. I really would like to hear one before I order it. I would like some bridge pickup clips, with distortion, preferably. Because I have heard it clean before. I am speaking of the 2500 model.

You'll get many more responses at http://www.harmony-central.com. Click on "Discussion Forums" near the top and post in the guitar section. Dozens upon dozens of folks there own an Agile. If you search the forums, you'll find many long threads on Agile. I bet there are some clips in there already.

Well worth it

A friend of mine that I jam with has the Agile Les Paul in Blond. He runs it through a Sun amp. I was a little disappointed with the amp since it did not have any outs on the back of it. So we used the Headphone/Line out and ran the amp to the board. This guitar sounded great. We run a Peavey 800 Stereo Mixer into an Onkyo amp with two really big Bozak PA speakers. Dual 12"s in each with a row of tweeters and a 8"mid. That might have had something to do with the sound of the guitar. I tried the Agile during one of our breaks. The first thing that impressed me was the weight. This thing was heavy, well over 20 pounds. The neck had a very solid feel and the string spacing was more than adequate for my hands. I play an Ibanez EX series. The neck is thin and not that wide. Good for rythm but you have a tendancy to touch other strings when doing lead work, makes your bends somewhat limited. The finish on this Agile had depth to it. I've looked at other Les style copies and I could not believe that he got this thing for the price that he paid. In my hands it felt like an $800 guitar. I don't know where he bought this thing. I think ebay. I've been looking for one for myself. I just couldn't beat the sound, the Hum's sound great really strong and the action was perfect. Hope this helps

I have two of them.. A Black beauty clone and a Blue quilt.. Both are excellent LPs for the money.. They easily rate better than an Epiphone and are equal to or better than a few Gibsons I've played.. Notice I didn't say ALL Gibsons. They have an excellent return policy so I would suggest you try one for yourself and if you don't like it,,simply return it.

20 lbs?

Must be a heavy strap. The web site says 9.0 lbs. I have my eye on the 2800. Like the Natural and HSB Sunburst.
