after recording what next?

i have cooledit2k. someday i'll have a bunch of tracks that i'll burn to a cd. when i got cooledit i thought that this would be all i needed as far as software goes(!). it's good though...but besides a cd burner, what do i need to complete this adventure?? a waveburning software like "waveburner"? does one need mastering software as well or is this just for top notch radio quality?
anyone know the difference between "waveBurner" and i think it's called Liquidburn or something at mp3.com?
i'll just throw this in; still looking for a gothic organ program with .wav files.......
 
If you baught a CD burner you probably got some software with it. That shuld be all you need to make your CD's. Mastering software is usefull but not required for creating good quality cd's unless you want to have them mass produced for distribution.
