Hi,

Thank you everyone for the incredible advice. I need to know what would be a good cable for my sp b1 for home recording?

I just want to make sure I avoid problems later down the road. xlr is what I need but any brands better then others or is generic/cheapest ok?

Thanks!!

Ella

I am told that neutrix connectors are good, and that canare and mogami cable are supposed to be excellent for a great price.

I just bought one on ebay that I am really impressed with. 25' of canare quad cable with neutrik gold connectors for $23 shipped. The seller doesn't have anymore listed right now, unfortunately, but getting custom ones on ebay is a good plan. I look for Neutrik connectors and Mogami or Canare cable, and a price around $1/ft., which is somewhat hard to come by.

B.L.U.E. Kiwi mic cables are very good oxygen free quad cables, and usually go for around $30. They are widely considered the best buy in a truely high quality mic cable.

The Mogami Gold XLR mic cable doesn't have a grounded sheild.
