I am wondering if anyone can provide me some advice on the following:
I usually play guitar, but I am venturing into learning keyboards/piano. I have an M-Audio key station 49e hooked up to my recording software.
Rather than fire up a plug in, through my recording software each time I want to play the keyboard and hear the sound through the speakers, I am wondering if there is any freeware out there that is a stand alone piano/keyboard?
In other words, I would like to fire up a standalone program, and be able to play my M-audio key station 49e through it. as I am doing this simply to learn how to play, basic piano/keyboard sopunds are what i am interested in.
Does anyone have any advice on any programs out there( prefrably freeware).
