Adobe Audition 1.5 / Sonar 4 Studio

Alright.... I have a couple of questions regarding which software I should pursue. I've been using N-track for awhile but it is rather unstable for my computer. I have used Adobe Audition 1.0 and I liked its interface and built-in editing capabilities.

I just bought an Aardvark Q10 (used) and it was supposed to come with Steinberg Cubase LE but what I actually got was cakewalk 9.

Here is the question: Should I sell Cakewalk 9 and purchase Adobe Audition 1.5 (can get for like $140) or should I keep Cakewalk 9, register it, and upgrade to Sonar 4 Studio for $199?

I have no experience with Sonar 4 but I'm just curious how it compares to Adobe Audition?

depends on what you want to do. I would go for the Sonar 4. (I own both - the Audition is a simpler environment and it has many limitations, sonar is way more versatile IMHO). That said, Audition has had it's uses for me (I bought it as a package with Premiere (a definitely good tool if you're doing video) so if you're tending toward more Acid type productions, Audition is good, if you need to integreate video, need strong Midi support, and need advanced surround, then Sonar is a better choice. IMHO, the Sonar workflows are much better than Audition.
