Yep sure do. Actually, I pulg the lamp in and use it as sort of a timer. I plug the lamp in and turn on tube mics. When the lava flows, the tubes are nice and toasty . Seems to work for me

You stole my idea! At any given temperature, it takes a lava lamp almost exactly the same amount of time it takes for a Rode NTK to warm up. Oh well, I'm unabashedly pro-yippie.-Richie
