Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to level the gain of each song so they sound at the same level on an album. Normalizing doesn't mean that it is all going to be leveled correctly. So compression helps but with songs that go from real quiet to loud, it is pretty hard to level up. Should I get a software like sound forge or Sonar is good enough to do the job?

Ah, come on.
On the other hand you can get a hell of a lot of mileage just in ACKUS. Line'um up, trim'um, slap on the gain envelopes, do the fades and volumes... Don't have the cd-pq code thingys', but the tools are there.
