Adding Effects to 424MKII PortaStudio

Hi - I'm getting back into doing a little recording, and would like to add a basic effects box - you know, reverb/echo/phase/etc., just to mess around. Can anyone give me some suggestions with manufacturers, please? Also, are there models that simply will not work with the PortaStudio?

I'm not familiar with your machine but I'd imagine you'd need to use a SEND to send any particular signal to an external effect, and then route it back via an input.

Thus any effects unit should work, but it depends upon where the SEND sits in the scheme of things though. Spatial effects such as you mention should all be fine, however.

Armistice is right ~ pretty much any effects unit should work from the great to the small.
Do you have much past experience with recording ? I ask because you say you're getting back into recording.
