addictive drums problem

when i drag and drop beats into my daw it has a habit of playing the beat played even after the recorded beat has finished, i click on the stop button in the actual plugin and that stops it for awhile. even when i export the mixdown it plays back the beat where it has not even been recorded

any ideas?
