I'm a simple jazz musician. I want to record some things, edit tracks, add efects... I'm not looking to produce grammy hits...don't need lots of bell s and whistles.. still though, i want to be creative using a recording technology. Should I go for the "yamaha type 4416 roland 1880...unit " or something in the ADAT realm. Simpler the better for me...linear like tape.
