Does anybody has any (really any) info on the working of the adat lightpipe?? It is not difficult to find info on spdif, but I cannot find anything on the adat format. Needed are stuff like bit allocation, headers used, coding..... If someone can tell me where to find it or how to obtain it: thanks.

ADAT lightpipe is a proprietary format. You are going to be hard pressed to find out much about it except from Numark/Alesis. Good luck with that. I am sure though that if you are developing a product that uses their format, they will have you sign a nice little "non-disclosure" statement, and send you whatever you need to finish developing your product.
