i have read numerous articles on preferable ways to get your adat tracks into the computer whether it be adat pci card, dakota, etc. once i get the means of transfering tracks into the computer, will most popular software titles import the tracks into themselves? what i mean is, can i buy the adat edit card and import my tracks into, say, cubase vst for mixing and what not?
i received a video from digidesign illustrating their new digi 001 interface and pro tools light. i liked the software aspect of this. what would you guys recommened as far as software goes, with the features of the pro tools le software. i plan to record my tracks, then mix/edut woth software, and burn to cd...
