i am trying to hook up various things to my soundcard(portastudio, mixer, effects proccesor, etc.) i need to know what would be the best way to adapt all these things. i have the 1/8 line jack and i want to be able to get a pair of stereo rca outputs from my portastudio or tape deck, a single 1/4 inch phone from my mixers main out, and a pair of stereo 1/4 inch phone for my guitar processor and other various things. I don't neccisarily want to run these in all at the same time but just the capabilities to run each of them seperate and perhaps not have to unplug and plug a bunch of stuff each time.

I need to know what adapters i need to keep the signal stereo and if anybody has prevouis experience here maybe tell me how it was done.

If your main stereo outputs on the 4-track are RCA, then you need a cable that has 2 RCA's L/R on one end, and an 1/8" stereo male plug on the other. Common cable, check Radio Shack, or any stereo store.

As for the rest of your cabling, most likely all 1/4" patch cables for your effects etc. Music store item.
