I have a Jazz Bass with active Seymour Duncan pickups. These pickups have 2 switches each. Accoding to the description, switch #1 shifts the coil resonance, and switch #2 gives a "broadband" boost of 4dB and 5dB on the the neck and bridge respectively.
The problem is that when switch #2 is on, the bass shows a VERY narrow peak of several dB in the 16 khz frequency, even when not playing. When switch #2 is off it doesn't happen, and it also happens when one (bridge or neck) is on.
Any ideas? TIA, Andrés
