if a control room doesnt have any harsh overtones or reflections, whats the point in acousticing it? Doesnt the room add somethin to the sound that acousticing would just take out anyways? And isnt it more important to get the control room acousticly correct to monitor accuratly?.
A room has acoustics without doing a thing. TREATING the room acoustics towards a flatter response is what most studio owners aspire to. But if you're happy the way your recordings translate to other systems, well, carry on.
