Seems rather repetitive to me, open tuning and lots of the same tapped harmonics. There are classical pieces that are much harder, and also much more interesting to listen to. Heck, I'd put Steve Howe's "The Clap" way in front of this for difficulty, even if it has no tapping.
Can't watch this due to work blocking youtube.. But have any of ye listened to Rodrigo Y Gabriela? Different type of tapping.. they play the acoustics like bongos, amazing stuff!! Metallica riffs thrown in and all! http://www.rodgab.com watch a vid and tell me you're not impressed! Seen them live a few times and they blow everyone away every time!
I too wouldn't consider his playing spectacular but very tasteful. A lot of shredders hammering/tapping but it usually comes across as a gimmick or a "flashy" thing to do. It was a bit repetative but I give it a thumbs up for clean delivery and musicality.
