Can someone tell me are there any good synths for acoustic guitar. Many of the old posts mention the Roland stuff and say it's pretty good. Is it that good?

If not maybe someone can tell me if there is a guitar synth plugin to use. Some kind of audio to midi thing.

This is mine. You will need to mount the pickup on the acoustic, so you have to be willing to drill a couple of holes and run some wires. You can use double sided tape instead, but I found that doesn't work real good if it's going to be permanant.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know. Drilling holes in one of my guitars just don't seem right. I wonder if there's a way to get around the attachment plate?

Maybe I'll keep looking around. Although from the Roland site, the stuff looks pretty good.

Anybody else have some other suggestions?

Hi
i just got the Roland GR30 from a friend who upgraded.
ive used it before buying with his Godin guitar with the built in electronics, but the GR30 has been lying here since christmas cos i havent gotten around to sorting out the pickup thing to one of my electrics yet.Its a great sounding thing, but i REALLY dont want to drill any holes in stuff.
You would think they could have a better way of attaching stuff than that.
ANyway,,sorry to but in.
