me and a singer friend decided to record some stuff for the first time. I was very surprised by how good it actually sounded, even if we had help from a pro in the field...
2 guitars layered, some panning, and some soloing on 1st song. 2 layers of song here and there, with myself doing some backing...
Yamaha LL6X -> Rode NT1 -> preamp -> computer -> some mixing
Friend sing -> Rode NT1 -> preamp -> computer -> some mixing
See The Light is a song we made many years ago as a joke. The goal was to write lyrics as cheesy and clichee as possible. We succeded! But for some reason people seemed to like it, so we decided to record it so these friends can have a cd and get all cheesy at home, haha...
The Suffering is of course a acoustic version of the Coheed And Cambria song. Not much to say about that one.
Please listen, and any opinion, good or bad is welcome. Specially about the mixing...
