Lovely feelgood song! Really like your guitar sound. This would be great on an ad.

Nice work.

Excellent tune Mr Allen! I love all the little backups you have going on here. Mix sounds great. I agree - this definitely has commercial potential. The second line is priceless....

:cool::cool::cool::cool:

Great stuff here. Had a Lennon feel - both John and Sean. Loved the vox sound and the guitar was gentle and nice too. Good interesting arrangement kept me guessing. Nice Brent picture

Minor quibbles - does it go on a little too long? Could do with a few drum fills to break it up?

My second listen - niiice vocals:)

Thanks for listening fellas.

Hey ido...I like that line too...I wanted to make all the lines like that, not serious, just funny, but it wasn't to be.

I agree about the ending. I shortened it somewhat on your advice, intomusic.

thanks again, and for any more comments

Very good tune!!! The only thing that I didnt like was drums. The drums kind of take away from the song instead of adding to it but everything else is top notch good job.

Ahhh, Mon kay!
This is very pleasant sound (has a Harry Nilsson meets Randy newman vibe to it) and very good lyrical bends.
Some of the guitar is late 70's country rock, America meets Jackson Brownish.
The backing vocals are a wonderful touch.
I think you've hit top gear cobber!
You're doing lovely things of late - Honkers must agree with you!

Good song, Monkey!
Kinda reminded me of Lennon and Yoko. Nice acoustics. I would lessen the effect of the doubled vocals a little, like make one track less louder, but that's just me.....
A pleasant listen!

Joey :):):):)

Agree with JoeyM about the doubled vocals. I was thinking the same thing, then saw his post. I'd also bring the vocals up a little more than the strumming guitars. This is a song where you want people listening to the lyrics so you want to put them out front.

The snare seems dead. I really like the acoustic guitarss here. You did a good job capturing them.

Good job.

Hey Monkey Allen - I really like this song. For some reason, the movie Dumb and Dumber popped into my head and I was imagining the skiing/snowball fight scene and hearing this song in the background.

That's a compliment! Sounds like a movie or commercial song or something. I liked the mix of everything and the song feel was very cool. I love acoustic stuff.

I actually stayed to listen to another song of yours, too. Great work!

Thanks for sharing your song.

Jen

Very nice song and mix. Guitars sound fantastic.

If I had to critique something - and this is really a stretch - I'd like a little snappier snare sound. This one sounds a hair dead, but that's only if I'm really looking for something to whine about, and I'm not. Very nice as-is. Great job.

Thanks a lot for listening...always good to get feedback.

Hey Jen...you woulnd't believe it...Dumb and Dumber is one of my favourite ever movies. It's a classic...so I loved your comment...haha cool!
