acoustic guitar with NYLON STRINGS--HOW?

as the output of this guitar is somewhat poor, would you prefer recording it with a large diaphragm condenser, or two of them, or the way to deal with it is playing with the preamp (more gain)...how do you do it right??

Classical guitar... small-diaphragm condensors, a couple of feet away. Set gain on preamp high as you need it.
