I dont have anything to say, i enjoyed it! Sounded like it was at an airport, but it was very fitting for the song! very creative.

Sounded great to me.

Nice guitar sound, very good singing.

the windy sounds was fitting as well.

Nice job man:cool:

Guitar is way in the distance. Doesn't sound bad to me though.

Tough crowd...

The "wind noises" are a subway terminal. About halfway through the song you'll here the anoucement of a train arriving.

The recording came out very well for a "remote" recording session. Guitar and vocals are balanced (more so when as the recording progresses and the player warms up).

I'm not diggin' the background noise of the terminal, although it disappears when he kicks it up a notch. The anouncement is pretty funny though!

Is this an assignment? What did you use for equipment? Pass along compliments to the singer/player....

:):D:):D

Sounds nice to me. Very cool arrangement. The vocals might be a bit loud for me. How'd you do everything? I might like it more without the background noise but it works with it there. The guitar does sound really far away. I might like a dryer sound. No pun intended.:)

Shit, you're recording a busking session? Sounds great man! You have a wonderful, expressive style. You should do some more fingerstyle stuff, you've got what it takes... You sound more than a little like my friend and teacher, Brooks Williams.

That was an enjoyable listen, no sucking at all going on.

Actually this was not a remote session... The guitar and vocals are in fact recorded at a studio.

The vox was recored with an ADK hamburg or SE Electronics 5600 (can't remember which right now) ---> Summit pre ---> 1176 and the guitar is a matched pair of Se Electronics SE2's to the SSL 4000g console. The subway is a sample I found online. My idea was to make it sound like a remote session. Looks like I nailed that aspect of the song. :D

I used a little altiverb to make it all gel and sound like one room.

Glad you guys/gals are enjoying it. I enjoyed working on it. The Guitarist/Singer is one of my buddies from school his name is Tim Wigley.

It definatley sounds like it was recorded out of the normal enivronment. I think its neat.

If I were at that subway station, I'd throw him on the tracks and take all the quarters out of his guitar case. :D

Sounds pretty good man. You nailed the sound of recording in a subway station. Pretty cool idea. :)

I mean, this sucks!

Sounds a little distracting to me. Maybe there is some distortion or loudness that needs to be adjusted. The bacground sounds are not THAT bad, but don't really invite me to keep listening either .. . . . .
