Well, there isn't enough traffic to justify it. It is just cluttering the forums. Plus like others have said, even 'electric' people enjoy stumbling onto an acoustic thread once in a while. But if it's in a separate forum, they might miss it.

If I understood right, the Acoustics will be merged with the Electrics ? If that's what it is, then I totally agree. I am a lot into both types of guitar and it happened to me yesterday to post a thread in the Acoustics and I copied it so I could go & paste it in the Electrics section as well.
Songs we like to cover is adressed to both acoustic and electric players. Running a guitar into an amp, into FX, strings, etc....those are all potential subjects that concern both Acoustics and Electrics.
That's a good initiative. If I understoond right ! ;-)

It wasn't exactly a failure and it wasn't at all a success. It got off to an interesting start then it became like Michael Douglas.
