1. Don't know, but I doubt it right now. There isn't really one for Mac either... close, but no cigar.
2. Acid Pro is, as the name might imply, professional level software for what it does. Acid Music or one of the Acid Style sets are basic programs. Some might argue that Sonar is more "pro" and it has integrated some of the Acid ideas with their superior audio/MIDI capabilities, but I use both, and Acid is much easier to learn, use and understand - I think this makes it a more versatile program in the hands of someone who knows the ins and outs of the program.
