acid problem

im using the demo version of acid 3.0 -----------------
when i insert media files there is no sound and no waveform display. what is wrong?

What media files? What file type are they? Where are you inserting them from/to?

i insert them to the track column by clicking ctrl+o

Does the preview play when the file is highlited in the ACID explorer?

not in the acid explorer... but the Beatmapper recognizes if the file has no tempo information, and i can also listen to the file there.

Okay, forgive me if this insults your intelligence, I am just starting with the simplest thing first...


After you insert the .wav file y using ctrl-o, are you painting the file in with the pencil tool? (clicking & dragging in the area to the right of the track information?)
