YES indeedy! That did it. It also fixed the problem in Vegas Video 3
and didn't mangle the already working status of Logic Audio.

Thanks for the tip!

No Prob!

I agree, the Beat Mapper thing is a blast. I was remixing some songs yesterday for shits and giggles, even though that's not my thing, just to try it out.

It works really well, so long as you know what the downbeat is.

A couple problems I've found so far with Acid 4.0:

1. Sometimes loop tracks bleed into recorded guitar tracks, even though no settings on my card have changed. This does not happen in Cubasis. This greatly pisses me off.

2. You can not run Acid with other ASIO programs; they will not play anything back. This also never happened before with Cubasis, Acid 2.0, Sound Forge etc.

3. Yesterday, Acid 4 crashed my system harder than a fat chick belly-flopping into a swimming pool with no water. I'm running Win2KPro, and it has never crashed. It crashed so bad I had to flip off the power.

I'm hoping Sonic Foundry fixes these issues with the 4.0a release. Right now I'm not the happiest guy on the planet.

Acid Crash

All of a sudden when I tried to bring up new tracks through the beatmapper, I would get a "Stack Dump" error message and the program would close. I wrote Sonic Forge and they sent me a link to 4.0A. I just downloaded it and I feel like a litterbox waiting to get dumped on!! I hope this works now!
