Lovely!!
This sure is pretty!! Excellent singing and nice arrangement. I like the guitar sound a lot. And the accordion really adds - you're not going to tell me that's a sample? I swear I can hear the bellows pumping and real reeds. I'd bring the vocal up just a tad - and I mean just a tad. The guitar seems a little more dominant than the vocal. The bass and accordion are fine to my ears - well done. In my opinion this is well written, well played, well recorded and mixed. Analog, right?

That is a real accordion. His drummer played since there are no drums in the song. This song ended up on his solo project. I used Cakewalk/Sonar to record the music, but mixed on the MCI which gives it a warmer sound. I use an HD24 these days.

Really, really nice song here. The only suggestion I could make would be to either turn the accordian down a notch or pan it somewhere, it's taking up too much room with the vocal and sometimes drowns it out. Great job.

Just starting--awesome so far.
Vocals starting--could be just a hair louder on vocals--just a tiny little bit. Still, very nice!!!
The accordion is an awesome addition to this piece. All the instrumental parts are well played and nicely mixed. Great spacial definition.

My standard bass set up is a Peavey Sessionbass amp going direct to the board. I use Sound Forge to apply any needed compression. The bass head works great with accoustic guitars too.

Nice song you have here. Nice clean sound with some nice touches. Vocals could use a little more presence IMO, but I don't know how as I am not sure it is just volume thing. Actually I think you could stand to bring down that accordian which could clear things up, plus you might think about panning it over, clearing up more space for those vocals.
