I guess they want a bit of both, Rami?

The song sounds very tinny. Not much low-end left. I guess it's particularly jarring in the vocals. Actually no it's in the guitar as well. I think this was recorded with a suboptimal mic?
If you recorded everything at once, you could consider recording guitar and vocals separately so you can tweak them with more focus.
There's nothing much more to say frankly. The song is not very inspired or inspiring, but that's just my opinion I suppose.
Add more body and post again.

Good thing you went easy on him. :D :D :D

Good song itself, but it sounds like you recorded it with a cheapo mic. There's barely any low end. A better mic, and you'll be better off. :D

Hm, I guess you have a point.
@kenneth I apologize, I shouldn't have bluntly stated my personal preference about certain kinds of songs or music. Sorry.

Is this a demo for the recording/mix? Or a song demo...where the recording quality is down the list?

The song is in the pocket for a mod rock ballad, with some production. But, #1, it needs melodic work in the vocal, and, #2, arrangement help to keep it interesting. The parts are long and unchanging: no surprises; the vocal could use some alteration of contour...especially in the chorus. And a hook.

"Good-Bye -hi, hi....."

Something.

Thanks very much guys,

Rami: Lol apologies, I didnt actually mean "go easy on me", it was more of a throwaway comment, suppose I shoudlnt say what I dont mean. Thanks for the useful feedback though

Singlespeak: Absolutely no need to apologise, your opinion is valued and very much appreciated.

Thanks to everyone else for your comments, this is just a very rough demo recorded on basic equipment. Im no good at producing music and wouldnt even know where to start. I just wanted an opinion on a song I wrote so thanks very much for that.
