PALEEASEEEE!! I need some help on this!!! Here's the situation....
I made a ton of songs years ago in a sequencer program using Absynth version 2. I no longer have this version of absynth and whenever I try to open these songs it doesnt load Absynth 2 within the track because its not installed obviously. Regardless if I have version 3 or 4, these songs wont open unless I obtain a copy of version 2. This is information coming directly from Native Instruments themselves and they no longer have ANY copies of version 2 (which is rediculous). Does anyone have Absynth version 2 I can buy off of them or know where I could possibly on this earth obtain a copy!?!?!?! I am working on a soundtrack for a DVD and it's really important I am able to open these songs as they were created. Here's is the final email I received from Native Instruments....
"Unfortunately since each version of Absynth has a different .dll or au
component for the plugin there isn't a way to force Absynth 3 or 4 to load in
place of Absynth 2 on a saved song. In that circumstance you would have to
find a way to get Absynth 2, load the song, and export the patch to be used
with a newer version of Absynth.
